What was asked for.
FoxScan needed a film that could introduce the product to technical buyers. The brief was sparse — a product description, a few screenshots and a goal: make it understandable and credible.
What made it hard.
There was no footage to cut and no visual language to extend. Every frame had to be designed, generated or composited — while staying accurate to how the product actually works.
What I owned.
Research & structure
Translated the product into a simple story arc: problem, scan, insight, outcome.
Visual development
Defined a precise, cool visual language with a single warm accent for moments of insight.
AI generation & compositing
Generated base plates, then composited UI and detail passes for accuracy.
Motion, edit & sound
Paced the film around the scan beat, with sound design carrying each reveal.
Clinical but calm. Dark, precise environments with a single warm signal for the product’s moment of insight.

Open on the problem
A quiet, dark environment establishes scale and stakes.
Refined until it was right.

Decisions that shaped it.
No footage or visual library.
Designed a repeatable generation + compositing pipeline so every shot shared one look.
AI output drifted from the real product.
Used generation for environment only; product detail was composited from accurate UI.
Technical audience, short attention.
Built the edit around a single visual beat — the scan — that carries the explanation.
In the real world.
